Whether you're looking for marketing insight, a business case or just some hard-won experience, one of the first conversations you'll have at Intermedia will be with Scott Forsyth. Scott is our head of strategy and works closely with all our clients to ensure their marketing is delivering on business objectives and making the right kind of impact in the market. He believes strongly that good marketing can deliver more than most businesses realise - as long as the basics are right. That means establishing a clear view both of the target audience and of the benefits the business has to offer and making sure everyone in the business acts in a coordinated way to promote and deliver those benefits. Do this well and customers will remain satisfied and loyal to the brand.
Just to make sure we're on top of our game, Scott is also responsible for Intermedia's own strategic activities. His multi-disciplinary approach draws on 25 years' experience and numerous qualifications in strategy, business and marketing planning across a wide range sectors. Scott keeps up with the latest developments in marketing through his membership of the Faculty of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), where he tutors regularly on the Chartered Postgraduate Diploma programme and works with some of the CIM's large corporate clients.
Mike's primary focus is on internal processes and ensuring clients' projects are completed on time and in budget. He has been a key 'behind the scenes' player in the development of Intermedia as a business in all areas. Project managing your job from the very first meeting to the de-brief and results analysis, Mike will ensure the work is completed within all the time and financial constraints agreed at the outset.
His responsibilities include setting up and managing all documentation, checklists, scheduling, specification sheets and reports, as well as establishing and managing roles, responsibilities and efficient workflow for the duration of the project. In fact, you'll get to know Mike quite well. He liaises with clients on a regular basis to deliver updates, report against project milestones and listen to any concerns or questions you might have. Mike's career stretches back to 1989, when he started out as a Graphic Designer before switching to Account Management - a role in which he gained extensive experience in the energy and utility sectors.
When it's that time in the process to generate some fresh creative thinking to promote your product or service, you'll be introduced to Dino. Dino is one of our Creative Directors and has over 26 years' ad agency experience working in London and the regions. His strength is his conceptual thinking, which creates engaging communications with great impact. He believes passionately in understanding your goals and getting the communication message spot on for the target audience. And whether it's a one-off ad or a through-the-line campaign, he'll stick to those principles.
Dino likes to get involved at the very early stages of the client briefing process and liaises directly with Scott on strategy. After a good deal of blood, sweat, tears and a few laughs along the way, he will then present back concepts which will hopefully delight and most certainly sell. Once it's approved, Dino will oversee the development of the raw concept, through to a highly refined piece of communication. Over the years, Dino has won his fair share of National and International industry awards and plaudits including Campaign Poster Awards, Campaign Press Awards, London International, New York Festival, Institute of Practitioners in Advertising Award, Institute of Sales Promotion Award, Clio, Roses and Cream Awards. All this aside, his greatest pleasure is producing work that's not only creative but highly effective.
Nik will be your main point of contact at Intermedia and will do everything he can before, during and after your project to make sure you get the results you're looking for. That means regular, hands-on management meetings from initial consultation through campaign development to implementation and results debriefing. Working with Nik, you'll understand how his drive for perfection informs every aspect of Intermedia's operation.
His ambition is to grow the company to a point where it's quite simply the best agency in the region. The best way of doing that, he believes, is to grow his clients' business. As well as his Managing Director role, Nik has responsibility for business development at Intermedia (feel free to call, he's a good listener). He's also in charge of the overall profitability and direction of Intermedia. Nik started his career in 1995 and has held various senior and executive management positions in advertising and new media agencies working cross-sector in the UK and North America.
